Finally a low sodium substitute for soy sauce! Made from fermented coconut nectar combined with onion, garlic and sea salt. Only 58mg of sodium per 100mls. Perfect as a salad dressing, for marinades, or as a sauce when stir frying meat and vegetables

Freedom Foods Potato Chips No Added Salt. Best before 23 February 2019. 8 boxes of 8 packets left. Were $27.65 now just $20. Last well past best before date.                     


Brown Rice Salad

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
1.  1 Cup Brown Rice
2.  1 tblsp Olive Oil
3.  1 tblsp Coco Earth Coconut Amino Sauce
4.   2 cloves of Garlic (crushed)
5.   2 tblsp of Currants
6.   2 tblsp of Pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
7.   ½  finely chopped Red Onion

8.   1 cup of chopped Capsicum

1.   Cook rice until just tender and allow to cool
2.   Cut up capsicum and onions and add to rice
3.   Mix in Currants and Pepitas
4.   Mix Oil, Garlic and Coconut Amino sauce and stir in

Serves 2-3 people



The Bad News..

Moredough Kitchens are no longer going to make their low salt Herb Aioli, Whole Egg Mayonnaise and Tartare Sauce. The current stock we have (plenty of the the mayo and the aioli) are all there are.  So time to stock up if like us you are a fan of these products. If you know of any other low salt products like these, please let us know and we'll chase them up.

We've just sold the last tin we can get of John West No Added Salt Red Salmon. It's no longer being made.  However we are following up with a New Zealand company who make a no added salt pink salmon. We'll keep you posted.





Can't Believe it's Not Mayo - Recipe from the Sodium Girl

1.   1/2 package of Silken Tofu (about 1/2 cup)
2.   1 clove of garlic, finely diced, or 1/8 teaspoon ground garlic powder
3.     1 teaspoon of apple cider or white vinegar

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
You can add whatever you like for extra flavour - curry, pickles, herbs, horseradish, paprika or wasabi. Slap it on your corn, your burger or on chips. Make an aioli or devilled eggs.
Will keep for approximately 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Choice Now of Couriers or Australia Post For Shipping 

We're now offering you the choice of shipping by courier or Australia Post (Parcel Post or Express Post) at checkout.

Couriers can't deliver to Post Office boxes, so if you use one as your shipping address you will need to select one of the Australia Post options. A way around this can be to use the residential address of a family member or friend.

if you live in a gated complex where only Australia Post has access, you will need  to select one of the Australia Post options as well.
